Upgraded 36V controller electronics, with increased cooling, adding additional power to motors, resulting in rapid movements speeds up to 1000 IPM when upgraded with the optional closed loop system. Non closed loop systems are capped at 600 IPM rapid movement.

OUR HISTORY
In 2007, our co-founder and former GM engineer, Tim Owens, built his first CNC machine in his garage—a prototype that sold immediately on eBay. With strong engineering instincts and a growing family to support, Tim set out to build a few more machines while considering his next career move. His wife and co-founder, Melissa Owens, brought expertise in marketing research, quality training, and retail management. Together, their complementary skills formed the foundation of what would become Next Wave Automation.
OUR HISTORY
Over a decade ago our founder and former GM Engineer, Tim Owens, built his first CNC machine in his garage which immediately sold on eBay. Little did he realize his life-long career path was being charted for him.
His quality CNC machines, which he named the SHARK were being heralded by professionals and hobbyists alike as the best CNC machine being built in this burgeoning industry. The next evolutionary step was to bring all our operations and products into one new dynamic home for our company which will now be known as NEXT WAVE CNC.
